Are there other participation restrictions?

You are welcome to seek additional help through organizations like The Salvation Army, Toys for Tots, Chaos and Kindness, your local church, school, police, or fire department.
Households must be located in the one of the towns that we currently serve:
New Hampshire: Barrington, Brentwood, Dover, Durham, Epping, Exeter, Farmington, Fremont, Greenland, Hampton, Hampton Falls, Lee, Madbury, Milton, New Castle, Newfields, Newington, Newmarket, North Hampton, Portsmouth, Raymond, Rochester, Rollinsford, Rye, Seabrook, Somersworth, Strafford, and Stratham.

What happens after I submit my application?
You will receive email confirmation that your application has been received. Your application will be reviewed within 5 business days. Your application status will be communicated to you via email and Facebook Messenger.
If your family is adopted, an admin will notify you via Facebook Messenger to get details for your child’s wish list. If your adopter is open to communication, a Facebook chat will be created with you, your adopter, and an admin. All communication must occur in this monitored chat. Contact outside of this chat will result in removal from the group and loss of eligibility for future assistance.
Anonymous Adopters: If your adopter wishes to remain anonymous, the admin will be your primary contact.
How do I get my gifts?
Direct Delivery: Some adopters like to make the experience a little more personal and will choose to meet with their adoptee directly to give the gifts. To meet in person, arrangements will be made in the group chat. Remember, you must meet in a public place, such as a shopping center parking lot. Deliveries and pickups cannot be arranged at private residences.
Pickup Instructions: If your adopter cannot deliver gifts, Village of Hope will give you the date, time, and location for pickup. Make sure to collect your gifts at the scheduled time and place. Important Note: Failing to pick up your gifts as scheduled may result in losing the gifts and could affect your eligibility for future assistance from Village of Hope.
Am I required to provide pictures?
No, you are not required to provide photos of your child with their gifts. While we love seeing the joy that these special moments bring, we want to respect the privacy and dignity of each family. If you feel comfortable sharing, we welcome photos in our group or via private message to your adopter, but there is no obligation. Your gratitude and participation are appreciated in any form.
Please review the Adoptee policies page for more information.
